SOGO・SEIBU “Ray of Formula 1”
The installation of light and sound “Ray of Formula 1”; part of the exhibition “The F1”, will be held from Wednesday March 4th to Sunday 15th, 2015 and WOW was in charge of creating, planning and directing this artwork.
This artistic interactive installation uses sound and light to celebrate the passion, the soul and the racing heartbeat of the F1 driver.
By using a controller to manipulate light, you too can experience what it’s like to be an F1 driver.
By manipulating the trajectory of light, the whole race track appears, and a life-size F1 car races down the main straight at incredible speeds right in front of your eyes.
F1（Formula 1®）is not just a motor sport, but a high-risk battle of life and death.
Spectators experience the ultimate in excitement, as these machines of such power and intensity fly by at incredible speeds of up to 300km/hr, battling it out on a narrow confined track, to be victorious in this, the fiercest of land battles. Tire tracks left in their wake represent each driver’s passion and soul.
