TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013・GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2013
Two WOW-directed interactive installations - Adobe's ‘Creative Cloud’ and NIKE's ‘TECH PACK BOX TOKYO’ - will be on display at TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013 in Meiji-Jingu Gaien Mae (central venue), and at shops around the metropolitan area from Saturday, October 16th to Monday, November 4th. We welcome you to come along to these events. WOW will also be filming the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2013, and this visual production will be showing at Tokyo Midtown from Wednesday, October 30th to Monday, November 4th.

TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013 『Color』
WOW directed the installation ‘Color’ for Adobe's ‘Creative Cloud’ for TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013. Prior to the event, a workshop was held for students to learn how to create character icons using Adobe 'Photoshop' and 'Illustrator', and then how to add animation to these icons, using Adobe 'After Effects'. The theme of the workshop was ‘With a new skill comes a new power of expression’, and several designers from WOW helped in the instruction of these workshops. The student's animated icons were used in the interactive installation for TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013 using Adobe's Flash Player and put together by WOW. TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013『NIKE TECK PACH BOX TOKYO』
WOW was responsible for producing and directing the interactive event ‘TECH PACK’, which is an integral part of Nike's Sports Wear global relaunch. The ‘TECH PACK’ event was held for just six days in Harajuku in September, and more than 1200 enthusiastic people took part. ‘TECH PACK’ will be up and running again at TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2013, so please come and visit us at our booth, and experience this fun event... http://p.tl/9FvS
To experience all the features of NIKE's new sports clothing, TECH PACK, you actually need to try it on and try it out. Once you've put on the TECH PACK, get creative and move as you like in front the huge LED screen. TECH PACK kinetically reacts to your body movements and translates your moves and displays everything on screen; the FIT, FEEL and FUNCTION. People can enjoy TECH PACK visually on the screen, as well as by the way it feels when worn. At the event, professional photographers will be taking photos, and after the event, the photos and video, will be put up on the TECH PACK website for everyone to enjoy.

GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2013
WOW will be creating a visual production to be shown at the main venue of GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2013 at Tokyo Midtown, starting from Wednesday, October 30th. This visual production will be shown on a huge screen (38 meter wide by 3 meters high). One hundred of the most outstanding design items selected for the Good Design Award 2013, will be on display. WOW will be showcasing these visual images by using an automated programming system, that makes it possible to show these one hundred images differently each second, never displaying the same combination twice. Like the gentle stream of a flowing river, the one hundred awarded images flow across the screen beautifully and seamlessly. The soundtrack that accompanies the visual production was composed specially for this event. Please come and visit this exciting exhibition starting from Wednesday, October 30th.
